Hotel Style Channa Masala
Channa Masala is wonderful and tasty side dish for chapathi and other morning dishes./ In this article I am going to show you how to make Channa masala same as Hotel taste.
- Turmeric Powder
- Chilli Powder
- Coriander Power
- Gram Masala
- Jeera Powder
- Lemon (half)

Vegetables
- Onion
- Tomato
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Green Chili
- chilly
Preparation method
First take 250 grams of Chickpeas and soak it in water for at least 8 hours. Then boil it in a small bowl.
Check weather it is boiled well or not. for that you can take one piece of Chickpeas and eat it. if you feel it is ok for you. just turn off the gas.
Masala Preparation
First take a kadai and fry the onion for few minutes. Onion must be turn in brown color. then only it is ready. you can use any kind of cooking oil. Then add ginger and garlic in the bowl and fry it for few more minutes. now all the vegetables color will change.
Then add all the masala powder which are mention above. Here you must not to add any water . if you water water in that the taste may be not soo good.
Now add the tomato and keep fry it. after few minutes the tomato color will change. Then add some water and close it for 2 minutes. Now the masala will be mixed with the added ingredients. Keep it become cool and blend it in the mixer grinder.
Second Step
Take a vessel and add some oil in it and add the briyani leaves, cumin, jeera, green chilly and fry it for few minutes untill the color of jeera becomes brown.
Now mix the masala in the same vessel then add some more water and it will looks like cream. You can add the boiled Chickpeas in the vessel. and add some more water if you need.
Final step
Keep it boil for 10 minutes and check weather it is boiled or not. If you feel it is not in the form of gravy, you can crush some of the Chickpeas. Now the channa masala is completely ready to eat.
