42 thousand absent in 10th Public examination., 10 ம் வகுப்பு பொது தேர்வில் 42 ஆயிரம் பேர் ஆப்சென்ட்

 

சென்னை: பத்தாம் வகுப்பு பொது தேர்வில் 42 ஆயிரம் பேர் பங்கேற்காமல் ஆப்சென்ட் ஆகியுள்ளனர். இதனால் பள்ளி வாரியாக விசாரணை நடத்தப்படுகிறது. தமிழகத்தில் பிளஸ் 2 பொது தேர்வு நேற்று முன்தினமும்; 10ம் வகுப்பு தேர்வு நேற்றும் துவங்கியது.

 பிளஸ் 2வில் 8.37 லட்சம் பேர் தேர்வு எழுதிய நிலையில் முதல் நாள் மொழி பாட தேர்வில் 33 ஆயிரம் பேர் தேர்வில் பங்கேற்காமல் ஆப்சென்ட் ஆகினர். பத்தாம் வகுப்பு பொது தேர்வில் 9.55 லட்சம் பேர் பங்கேற்க அனுமதி வழங்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால் 42 ஆயிரத்து 24 பேர் தேர்வில் பங்கேற்காமல் ஆப்சென்ட் ஆகியுள்ளனர். இது பள்ளிக் கல்வி அதிகாரிகள் இடையே அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

 மொத்த மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கையில் 5 சதவீதம் பேர் தேர்வுக்கு வராதது ஏன் என கேள்வி எழுந்துள்ளது. இந்த மாணவர்கள் பொது தேர்வை கண்டு பயந்து விட்டனரா அல்லது படிப்பை பாதியிலேயே விட்டனரா என்ற சந்தேகம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. அதேபோல கல்வி கட்டணம் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு காரணங்களால் ஹால் டிக்கெட் வழங்கப்படாமல் மறுக்கப்பட்டதா என்றும் சந்தேகம் எழுந்துள்ளது.

 இதுகுறித்து மாவட்ட வாரியாக பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்கள் உதவியுடன் தேர்வுக்கு வராத மாணவர்களின் விபரம் மற்றும் அதற்கான காரணம் குறித்து விசாரணை துவங்கியுள்ளது. நேற்றைய தேர்வில் காப்பி அடித்தல் உள்ளிட்ட முறைகேடு பிரச்னைகள் எதுவும் கண்டறியப்படவில்லை என அரசு தேர்வு துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

 The question arises as to why 5 per cent of the total number of students did not appear for the examination. It is doubtful whether these students were scared of the general examination or dropped out halfway through their studies. Doubts have also been raised as to whether the hall ticket was denied due to various reasons including tuition fees.

 With the help of school teachers, an inquiry has been started into the details of the students who did not appear for the examination and the reason for it. The State Examinations Department said that no irregularities were found in yesterday's examination, including cheating.
