 அமைச்சர் அன்பில் மகேஷ்அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் மாணவர் சேர்க்கை எப்போது துவங்குவது என்பது குறித்து தேர்வுகள் முடிந்த பிறகே முடிவு எடுக்கப்படும் என்று பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் அன்பில் மகேஷ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். சென்னை ஸ்டெல்லா மேரிஸ் கல்லூரியில் "குழந்தைகள் மற்றும் வளரிளம் பெண்களின் கல்வியில் புதிய போக்குகள்" என்கிற தலைப்பில் ஒருநாள் கருத்தரங்கை அமைச்சர் அன்பில் மகேஷ் தொடக்கிவைத்தார்.

 இதையடுத்து பேசிய அமைச்சர் அன்பில் மகேஷ், ஆசிரியர்களிடம் மாணவர்கள் தவறாக நடந்துகொள்ளும் நிகழ்வுகளை தவிர்க்க, பல்வேறு நிகழ்ச்சிகள், ஆரோக்கியமான போட்டிகள், நன்னெறி வகுப்புகள், உளவியல் சார்ந்த ஆலோசனைகள் வழங்கப்பட உள்ளது.

 இதையும் மீறி மாணவர்கள் ஆசிரியர்களிடம் முறைகேடாக நடந்துகொள்ளும் போது தான் டிசி(TC) தரப்படுவதாகவும், அப்படியான மாணவர்களுக்கு டிசி தரலாம் என்று அவர்களின் பெற்றோர்களே கூறுகின்றனர்.ஏற்கனவே பல மாவட்டங்களில் ஆசிரியர்களிடம் தவறாக நடந்துகொண்ட மாணவர்களுக்கும், முறைகேட்டில் ஈடுபட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கும் TC ஏதும் வழங்கப்படவில்லை என்றும் பொது மன்னிப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும், நிலைமை கைமீறி செல்லும் போதுதான் TC வழங்கப்படும் என்றும் இனி மாணவர்கள் எந்தவித தவறான செயல்களிலும் ஈடுபடக்கூடாது என்றும் தெரிவித்தார்.

 காலை சிற்றுண்டி வழங்கும் திட்டத்துக்காக பள்ளிகளின் வேலை நேரத்தை மாற்றுவது தொடர்பாக இதுவரை முடிவு எடுக்கவில்லை என்றும் முதலமைச்சருடன் கலந்தாலோசித்து நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என்றும் தெரிவித்தார்.

Minister Anbil Mahesh inaugurated a one-day seminar on "New Trends in Children's and Adolescent Girls' Education" at Stella Mary's College, Chennai.

 Speaking on the occasion, Minister Anbil Mahesh said that teachers should be given various programs, healthy competitions, ethics classes and psychological counseling to avoid incidents of misconduct by students.

 Despite this, their parents claim that DC (TC) is given only when students misbehave with teachers, and that such students can be given DC. He also said that students should not be involved in any misconduct.

 He said no decision has been taken yet on changing the working hours of schools for the breakfast program and action will be taken in consultation with the Chief Minister.

 Minister Anbil Mages said that a decision on the commencement of student admissions in government schools would be taken soon and after the completion of the examinations, the decision would be taken in consultation with the publication of the schedule for the general examination in advance for the coming academic year.
